Serena Yau

Serena is a scenic designer and painter. She graduated cum laude from Smith College with a BA in theatre (with a design concentration), and a minor in East Asian Languages. She has experience in scenic, lighting, and costume design.

She is currently in the Bay Area, California, working as an overhire scenic artist at various local theatres, including Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Aurora Theatre. Serena spent the summer as the staff props painter at Santa Fe Opera. Her work has also been seen at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Panopera Productions, and Smith College. In her spare time, she loves taking care of her plants and going on bike rides.
